About THE CLASSES: Online and In-Person
Classes are on a one-on-one basis with 1 hour of duration and can be online or in-person (Upper East Side - Manhattan, NYC). UPDATE: Douglas is currently teaching all lessons ONLINE.
For online classes, the student only needs a cell phone/tablet/computer and a headset.
Lesson time is divided between technical exercises and repertoire work. Repertoire studies are always designed to fit the specific interests of the student.
Classes can be weekly, biweekly or on a one-to-one basis. Therefore, students are free to schedule their classes (subject to the teacher's availability).

About THE TEACHER
Douglas holds a degree in Vocal Performance/Music (Brazil) and has a certificate in Voice Teacher Training at New York Vocal Coaching under the guidance of Justin Stoney in NYC (USA). He has a large experience as a performer and vocal coach of Musical Theater.
Besides performing, as a teacher, he has a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the vocal mechanism, and experience teaching students of varying levels, ages, and styles.
Douglas specializes in belting, legit, and pop singing. Along with those techniques, he also applies acting to help the students find their natural voices while enhancing the power of their interpretation.
